"Be Water My Friend..."

Another great motivating quote from the great Bruce Lee today getting up this morning:

"Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend."

A good parent, a good husband, a good friend, a good co worker, a good workout buddy - you are whoever you want yourself to be if you put your mind to it.

Did a Bodyweight Circuit that completely gasped the living air out of me this morning...and it was off taking care of some errands with our little baby boy who had his 1 year check up with his Pediatrician this morning (1 year immunizations and a blood test...poor dude was a freakin pin cushion today!) and I was very impressed that he didn't even cry!!! I guess that's his way of saying: "No pain, no gain, Dad!". Took part in his first haircut that afternoon too! He got his very 1st certificate of his young life: A certificate of his first haircut with his own hair in a small ziplock for a keepsake! Mom was proud of course. Of course the cameras were rolling as one of the highlights of our day was occuring right before our eyes...

Later this evening (a few hours before this post)...I did an ab circuit of 5 different exercises to finish off the day.

"Be water my friend."
