"Patience, Grasshopper..."

"Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet." ~ Phaedrus

"Learn the art of patience. Apply discipline to your thoughts when they become anxious over the outcome of a goal. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success." ~ Brian Adams

"We can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance, Well they're are no friends of mine
I say, we can go where we want to, a place where they will never find
And we can act like we come from out of this world
Leave the real one far behind" - Safety Dance

Men Without Hats

Just playin Andy...

Too many expect results on nearly a daily basis. The work must be put in (diet, exercise, and rest) and it must be consistent for the results to be attained. I used to ask my wife on a daily basis if it looked like I lost weight...now I just wait for her to notice.

Mike...you're just like me at home!

Believe it or not...More and more, I'm realizing that it is more than a number on a scale. That doesn't tell me squat. I'd me more happy seeing the scale not budge but to see my BF get lower and lower by the weeks. I'm telling you, Man... pictures tell a thousand words...and what I'm seeing right now is blowing my mind!!!

Exercise...rest...proper nutrition (with a few cheats, too)...balance...and PATIENCE - that will get us to where we want to be...no matter what fitness goals we want to attain...

It's not all scale. It's how you feel about yourself...a scale should not control you...if you do - that just sets us up for disappointment and disbelief that what we do is all for fail...

mike...keep it coming man!!! love your insights as always....
